Requirement Overview

Open Frontages / Solid Walls: Stand walls (above 1.5m in height) that are on a gangway facing another exhibitor’s stand should not exceed 4m in length without an opening or glazed panel of at least 1m in width and 2.5m in height.
Walls should include natural breaks, glazed panels, or an open view.
If an opening or vision panel is not practical (e.g., for plant rooms or areas behind machines), a plan must be submitted, and written permission must be obtained from the organizer for an exception to this rule.

To help exhibitors and contractors meet these requirements while maintaining functional and visually appealing designs, here are some ideas we can propose:

See-Through Walls:Use materials such as glass or see-through fabric to create walls that allow visibility while maintaining a sense of enclosure.

Low Walling Around Machines:Instead of high solid walls, exhibitors can use low walls to tidy up the perimeter of their stand.
This approach prevents machines from encroaching into the aisle and creates a more open and inviting environment.
While some exhibitors may worry that visitors will see the back of their machines, this is not necessarily a drawback, as their primary objective is to showcase and sell their machines.

Natural Breaks or Openings:Encourage designs that incorporate natural breaks or openings in the walls to comply with the 4m rule.

Glazed Panels:Suggest the use of glazed panels that meet the required dimensions (1m in width and 2.5m in height) to break up long solid walls.By offering these solutions, we can help exhibitors create stands that are both compliant and visually appealing, while also enhancing the overall visitor experience.
